Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between:
The Vendor: Robin Roellinger, Sole trader, Chemin des Catalans, 83470 Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, SIRET 813 490 687 00031
The Client: any natural or legal person making a purchase on the sentinelle-pii.fr website
They apply to the subscription of paid plans for the Sentinelle PII Chrome extension (Pro and Team plans).
Article 2 — Service Description
Sentinelle PII is a Chrome browser extension that:
- Automatically detects sensitive personal data (emails, phone numbers, IBANs, credit card numbers, CVV codes, expiry dates, social security numbers, postal addresses)
- Pseudonymizes this data before sending it to artificial intelligence platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and any custom domain added by the user)
- Re-injects real data into AI responses
Detection and pseudonymization take place entirely within the browser. No detected personal data (emails, phone numbers, IBANs, etc.) is transmitted to our servers. The extension communicates with our servers solely for account management, quota management and technical configuration (see our Privacy Policy, section 3).
Article 3 — Plans and Pricing
3.1 Solo Plan (Free)

3.3 Team Plan (€49/month incl. VAT)

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes. The Vendor reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Changes apply only to new subscriptions.
Article 4 — Order and Payment
4.1 Order process
The Client selects the desired plan and is redirected to the secure Stripe payment platform. After payment confirmation, the Client's account is automatically created. The Client then logs into the extension with their email via a 6-digit code.
4.2 Payment methods
Payment is made by credit card via Stripe. Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
4.3 Security
Transactions are secured by Stripe (PCI-DSS level 1 certified). The Vendor never has access to the Client's banking information.
Article 5 — Term and Renewal
Subscriptions are taken out for a period of one month. They are automatically renewed at each due date, unless cancelled by the Client before the renewal date.
In accordance with articles L.215-1 to L.215-3 of the Consumer Code (Chatel Act), the Client will be notified by email no later than one month before the renewal date of the possibility not to renew their subscription.
The Client may cancel their subscription at any time via the Stripe management portal (accessible from the extension) or by contacting support@sentinelle-pii.fr. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Article 6 — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the Client has a period of 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the Client may use the standard withdrawal form (available on request at support@sentinelle-pii.fr) or send any unambiguous statement expressing their intention to withdraw. The refund will be made within 14 days via the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
Exception: In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised if the Client has started making full use of the service before the end of the 14-day period, with their prior express consent and acknowledgement of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
Article 7 — Vendor Obligations
The Vendor undertakes to:
- Provide a service consistent with the description
- Ensure the availability of the extension (outside of maintenance windows)
- Respond to support requests within the stated timeframes
- Protect Client data in accordance with GDPR
The Vendor is subject to a best-efforts obligation. It does not guarantee that the extension will detect 100% of sensitive data, nor that third-party platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) will remain compatible.
Article 8 — Client Obligations
The Client undertakes to:
- Use the service in accordance with its intended purpose
- Not attempt to circumvent the limitations of the free plan
- Not resell or redistribute the extension
- Not use the service for illegal purposes
Article 9 — Limitation of Liability
The Vendor shall not be held liable for:
- Indirect damages (data loss, loss of business, loss of profits)
- Modifications made by third-party platforms rendering the extension temporarily inoperable
- Fraudulent use of the service by the Client
- Service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure
In any event, the Vendor's liability is limited to the amounts paid by the Client over the past 12 months.
Article 10 — Intellectual Property
The Sentinelle PII extension and all its components (code, design, documentation) remain the exclusive property of the Vendor. The Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the duration of their subscription.
Article 11 — Personal Data
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. The Vendor undertakes to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Article 13 — Mediation
In accordance with articles L.611-1 et seq. of the Consumer Code, in the event of an unresolved dispute, the Client may use the following free mediation service:

Article 14 — Applicable Law
These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute not resolved by mediation, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
